James is an entrepreneur and music industry strategist, specialising in the world of classical, film and world music.
In 2015, he founded creative agency Nouvague in partnership with the Prince’s Trust, fostering a successful track record in developing marketing strategy and campaigns for an eclectic host of notable brands and personalities across Europe, US & The Middle East. Recent clients include BOXPARK, Primephonic, Gavin Greenaway, Shift K3Y, Nadine Benjamin, London Mozart Players, Sony Music, Friends of Jordan Festivals & Tête á Tête Opera.
An active musician, he has performed in some of the world’s prominent classical venues, including The Vatican, St. Mark’s, Venice, Hong Kong Cultural Centre and St. James’ Cathedral, Toronto, as well as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall & St. Paul’s Cathedral.
James has been featured on BBC Radio 5 Live and in publications such as The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, Attitude Magazine & Arts Professional, and is regularly invited to speak at international music conferences on a variety of topics surrounding the classical music industry. He currently sits on both the Youth Strategy Board for the Prince’s Trust and the Creative Advisory Board for Help Musicians UK.
